A Plan for Happiness

Everywhere I look currently I see articles on daily happiness, finding the joy, releasing our fears and expressing gratitude.

This is the way I want to live my life. Every Day.

Feeling happy just some of the time is not an option. I want to feel great always. I want to feel happy to be alive.

And I want to pass this good cheer onto my clients – Individuals and the Businesses and Corporations they are a part of.

I believe the overall purpose of our life is to find the joy.

To find what makes us happy. To spend time with those we love.

To do the work that lights us up, brightens our mood and can feel almost effortless and completely natural to us.

It is work but not as we know it. It is work that works for us. Work without the sacrifice.

It is work that values our worth and rewards us for stepping forward and owning our gifts. Being bold and brave to be our open, authentic Selves.

The Summer is definitely a time for me to ease up, kick back, go with the flow and let go of some of my plans and just Be.

I LOVE this time and adore waking up to repeated blue skies. Add in a sparkling sea or pool view, a warm breeze and the knowledge that I am somewhere completely new and today is another great adventure with time to let the day unfold – and my heart truly sings. It’s a wonderful feeling I cherish.

Back in London over the week-end, I could feel my energy change.

The desire to plan came in. The desire to bring in what I have learnt over the Summer. To ensure that every day – blue sky or grey – is a day that fills my heart with joy and excitement.

So I made a plan..

In 6 weeks time I will be heading to NYC for Emerging Women Live to meet a group of women who definitely walk their talk. I am preparing to be inspired, uplifted, empowered. Feminine Leadership at its best.

Before I go I’m reading and taking the action steps in May Cause Miracles: A 6-Week Kick-Start to Unlimited Happiness by Gabriella Bernstein. One of the Speakers at EWL.

I have a 12 week fitness plan in place taking me through the change of seasons to keep my energy high.

After playing a very average but fun game of tennis with my best friend, godson and her daughter this Summer I’ve signed up for tennis lessons. When Wimbledon comes around next year I will be even more connected to the sport I love. And I will be there.

I’ve committed to regular Spinning classes with my divine teacher who looks like a Greek adonis but is patient and supportive and gently encourages me to do better when my legs feel like jelly. And his female sidekick who has the muscle definition I know I can achieve too. I heart #StrongisthenewSkinny.

I’ve signed up for Run Club. When the half marathon gang ran past my door yesterday I wanted to join them. Remembering how good it felt before I broke my foot. When I completed 12 miles training with a sprint finish and new I was ready for the race. I want that feeling again however far I go.

I’ve found two great local Yoga teachers. Local and Great being key. To glide home effortlessly when I’m in my state of zen. Who show me how open and expansive my body and mind can be day and night.

I have a plan for my book. My book proposal is coming.

And I’ve connected with an amazing Mentor and group of women who allow me to be bigger, bolder, brighter.

I love learning. It make me feel expansive.
