YOU ARE THE AVERAGE OF THE FIVE PEOPLE YOU SPEND THE MOST TIME WITH
– Jim Rohn
I heard this about 4 years ago and it really struck a cord with me.
At the time “my five” day-to-day were predominently my boyfriend, his daughter and my clients. I was very focused on building my own little family unit and being a great partner and pseudo step-mum, as and when required. My business was thriving with what felt like little effort as I was living out my message of loving and nurturing family.
Today, my friends and their families feature far more prominently in my life and I am making amazing connections daily with new and inspiring women who are working to create more parity in our world. They are not afraid to be pioneers or trailblazers, creating new ways of thinking and doing – with the goal of inspiring a legacy of change.
I have stepped up my level of participation in work and play and genuinely am loving both. I have a desire to connect with a larger community not just in London, but nationally and globally, but also want to stay grounded and connected to those who have known me forever.
Since the beginning of the year I have participated in coaching and high-level networking groups which give me untold support and inspiration from women who resonate and have the same passion as me – To make a difference and to dance to our own tune. And to hold a space for others to do the same.
I had the pleasure of spending last Friday and Saturday with a group of smart, mindful women who are all working in the business of supporting transformation – both in our own lives and those of our clients. Stepping up, playing a bigger role, valuing our worth, letting go of our historical limiting beliefs (what’s real vs imagined anyway?) and reaching our true potential.
It was a potent experience and one I am most grateful for.
Recently I also accepted an invitation to join a second, smaller more bespoke high-level Mastermind group, Head over Heels, and it is through this and numerous conversations with my clients that the seeds to create my own High-Level Maternity Mastermind Group started to take hold.
It may initially seem a slight conflict of interests to participate in a “Mastermind” when you are pregnant but women are naturally great collaborators and supporters and the desire and natural ability to “mother” when you are pregnant doesn’t just apply to your unborn child.
According to Forbes, the 7 Reasons to Join a Mastermind Group are :- Exclusivity, Advisement, Collaboration, Extending your Network, New Learning, Cross Promotion and Thinking Bigger.
If you are a women who is transitioning from a senior position in your career to life with your new baby with the aim of finding a new, differently balanced norm which meet all your needs, this may be for you.
Some of my clients have friends who are having their babies at the same time as them or they get lucky and meet like-minded women at their local antenatal class a month or two before they give birth but I have noticed the more senior and successful you are in your role, the smaller your like-minded pregnancy support network tends to be.
You may be brilliant at managing your team and know your role well but becoming a mother is a completely new experience. When you are used to being in control not having all the answers or being in charge of your own body can feel very overwhelming.
I’m not talking of a support group with just great therapists and professionals. Your Consultant can often connect you with good options for your physical healthcare but my focus is, and always has been, your emotional wellbeing and mindfulness.
What if you could..
Connect with other senior women in your industry who are having a baby?
Connect with other pregnant women or new mothers outside your industry but in equally powerful and demanding roles?
Connect with women going through the pregnancy journey, not just on your doorstep but globally? At times to suit your busy schedule, when you find a moment?
What if your company fully supported your inclusion in this group, demonstrating how much they truly value the transitional process you are experiencing?
I am launching a group by invitation only, for Smart, Senior Women to come together during Pregnancy and Early Motherhood and connect on the real issues you specifically have.
You will receive an intensive one-to-one experience with me alongside regular group calls led by myself and additional experts in all areas of pregnancy health and well-being.
Allowing you to feel totally safe, supported and free to share your concerns and have all your needs fully met.
