Please Sir, I want some more.
I will never forget watching Harry Secombe’s response to Oliver as Mr Bumble in the movie of the same name.
Asking for more with clarity and conviction for your desires is not something to be timid or afraid of. Wanting more inspires growth, creativity and development.
I recently felt the desire to write a list of what I would like more of in my life.
This is my uncensored list.
More security and the feeling of stability
More joy and fun
More happiness in my belly
More meaning to my life
More sunshine and warmth
More time to value what I already have
More happiness in my heart
More herbal teas
Since writing this list I have experienced “more” in so many areas of my life. Daily.
I have learnt that living a life wanting more is healthy and exciting and creates opportunities I could only dream of.
More fun, more laughter and more fulfilment. Amen to that.
What would you like more of today?
I highly recommend you commit to it, write it down and take inspired action daily towards your desires and you will be amazed at the results!
Let me know..
As a footnote: Since posting this I have realised that wanting more assumes a baseline of having the absolute basics covered as a given. Food, water, shelter, heating, light and clothing. I take full responsibility for the understanding and acceptance that my thoughts lead to my feelings which lead to my actions which lead to my results. I create my life and the amount of my self worth and value that I feel for myself is reflected back to me.
