I believe a great coach or trainer has a natural talent to guide others to make real breakthroughs and provide lasting change. They have the ability to lead so others can come to a new level of understanding of what is possible without bias or judgement. A great coach has the vision to see things better than they are and help others to share in that idea. They are naturally curious and comfortable to challenge. There is strategy, process and learnt skills but there is also instinct, insight and intuition to hold a safe space for the answers to come from within.
My ability to coach is underpinned by 20 years business experience, numerous qualifications as a therapist and founder of my own clinic where I listened and connected with around 10,000 pregnant women as well as creating and delivering change management programs for Bovis Lendlease and the NHS. My skill set evolved organically to take around 2,000 women working across a variety of industry sectors including banking and finance, consultancy, law, property, media and advertising, retail, technology and engineering through the pregnancy journey and transition to motherhood. I am currently delivering coaching and training programs to the property and technology sector but have a breadth of experience and enjoy working across all industries.
Below is a selection of feedback and comments from some of the women I have worked with over the last 15+ years and recommendations from the press.
I was concerned about how I would cope when returning to work
Personally I was concerned about how I would cope when returning to work. I was worried about how I would balance everything successfully. I felt really torn about leaving my son versus getting my career back! Prior to meeting with Lisa, I worked with another firm that my company were thinking of using for maternity support but I didn’t find it helpful. The advice was mundane and basic – they didn’t suggest anything, which I hadn’t already done or thought of.
I looked for something else, someone that could help me. I found Lisa on line and I read about her approach, experience, testimonials and watched several online videos. Something clicked when I listened to her and I knew I needed her expertise to help me through this transition. She said things in her video that made sense, resonated with me and changed my thinking on certain aspects. I wanted to work with her and liked her personal approach.
Did you have any reservations? No, I needed your help and knew it!
Whilst working with Lisa, I noticed I was better equipped to cope with the ups and downs and challenges along the way. The holistic approach meant she considered everything and it was reassuring having someone who knew what they were doing and how to help me. I feel in control again. I feel like I know myself better than I did before and understand what is important to me following the arrival of my child. I think everyone will get something different from working with Lisa because she identifies the needs of individual. Lisa is a real rock balancing listening with offering solutions and sound advice. She will help you be the best you can be. RJ
Being my first pregnancy I was keen to take all the help and advice I could!
I was recommended your services by my work colleague. With it being my first pregnancy I was keen to take all the help and advice I could!
I was hearing a lot of contradictory advice and felt a bit confused. The main thing I was unsure about was when would be the right time to start my maternity leave, and the right time to slow down. I was concerned about how things would change at work while I was off and how I’d feel upon my return (and where I’d fit in).
My view of being on maternity leave has changed. I used to think it was completely separated from work and in terms of my career saw it as wasted time, but now realise that this new experience brings with it a whole new skill set, much of which will be applicable to work upon my return.
I now focus on me a lot more, think more about my health, diet, how I deal with stressful situations (personal and work related). This in turn makes me happy and feel that I am doing a good job as a mother. I feel confident about my return to work and making best use of my maternity leave and keeping in touch days.
What would you say to anyone thinking of taking up the maternity support?
Do it – you won’t realise you need it till you do it! Lisa told me things about pregnancy and about the way I’d feel that I didn’t find in any of the books (and I did a lot of reading). So helpful to be prepared. Having the structure of sessions with Lisa in place gave me the opportunity and confidence to talk to my manager and team about my intentions for maternity leave, when and how to start it and how long I intended to take off. I’ve also had a couple of sessions since having my baby and this too has been invaluable as there are undoubtedly a whole new set of questions, feelings and concerns to discuss. KW
I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect, I wasn’t sure how you would be able to help me/what you would do.
I was only made aware that Lisa’s services were available to me as an employee about a week or so before I was about to start my maternity leave.
I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect, and given my negative feelings in relation to company and my role at the company I wasn’t sure how she would be able to help me/what she would do. I wasn’t quite clear on how the relationship between her and I and my company was to work.
I think it has been very clear that, although her services are sourced by my company Lisa has an interest in me as an individual as well as a business employee, and this was relatively unexpected. I have much appreciated her support in the progress I have made (in terms of how I’ve felt emotionally etc) since I have been able to have some distance from my company.
I now feel much more relaxed and prepared to have a baby, and have come to accept my pregnancy more than perhaps I had before. I certainly feel more ready to approach motherhood, but in terms of work I am still undecided. There are still many negative associations that my company has for me, which I suppose I am not thinking about because I don’t have to at the moment, given I won’t return to work until this time next year. This is complicated by the fact that I wouldn’t want to return to my previous role/team and felt I had no support from them at all (and they didn’t really acknowledge the fact that I was leaving etc).
I would definitely advise anyone to take up the offer of maternity support with Lisa because, even if your baby is planned, it is still a daunting experience and any assistance and support is well worth it. In fact, without this maternity support I would probably have felt utterly deserted by my company at this stage. RW
Having already returned to work once following maternity leave with my daughter I was interested to see what I could learn to help my work life balance to the benefit of all parties.

Before I spoke to Lisa I had doubts about what value she may be able to add given this was my second baby, but having had a chat prior to working together I got a better understanding of her work, and how she would be able to help. The sessions with Lisa are incredibly useful and give me time to think about me and how to be compassionate and nourish myself. Lisa has equipped me with tools help deal with the ups and downs of day –to- day challenges of life and gain control. I have a better understanding of me as an individual and what is important to my family and I.
I would recommend anyone to take this up. Lisa has the tools and advice to help anyone to get to know themselves better to allow them to be their best. She is an excellent coach. NB
I thought it sounded a bit ‘alternative’ (read ‘touchy feely mumbo jumbo’) for me and was skeptical about how that might help me in my post baby career.
Word of mouth drew me to come and work with Lisa via a very strong recommendation from a work collegue. I thought it sounded a bit ‘alternative’ (read ‘touchy feely mumbo jumbo’) for me and was sceptical about how she might help me in my post baby career. Now I understand her ethos and the theory that if you look after yourself as the centre of your world, everything else radiates out of that wellbeing and it feeds into other parts of your life, so you become a happy rounded human being.
Not only that, but those around you benefit too. I feel much happier, and I’m seeing things from a different perspective which has helped me in several ways. I’ve still changes to make, but I think they will benefit me and then in turn my family, work and friends as a result. Do it. What have you got to lose? BM
I was pregnant with my second baby when I made the conscious decision that this time I would feel more in control
I wanted my emotions and well-being taken into account rather than just the physical needs of the baby and me. Lisa has superb listening skills, she understood what I was going through and her advice and coaching skills were both insightful and practical.
Lisa provided great emotional support before and after my baby arrived. I trusted her and was completely honest about how I felt with her. I never got the feeling of being judged but always listened to, with great support. I felt more serene before the delivery through her very relaxing reflexology sessions (which helped with my bad case of water retention) and just after the delivery, which was actually very stressful as the baby stayed in intensive care at the hospital for a week.
After the delivery I used my sessions for either reflexology when I just needed TLC or yoga when I felt up for gentle energy boosting sessions. Every session started with a discussion about how I felt about my concerns for the baby or me and Lisa gentle coached me through a very natural feeling process. My baby is now 3 months, she is very healthy, I’ve gone back to work and I am still following some of her advice and remembering her insights. I’ve also recommended her to a very good friend who is pregnant with her first baby. Lisa, I owe you, thank you.
Lisa came into Chelsea and and Westminster 48 hours after I had my first baby
I found it hugely beneficial. To have some relaxation at that very important time was crucial. I continued treatments from the comfort of my own home for 5 weeks following the birth. Lisa is a great healer, intelligent and knowledgeable on pre and post natal. I am positive she improved my recovery time and the huge transition to motherhood.

Lisa has an abundance of knowledge
I found Lisa helped me through a very stressful newly postnatal period and was fantastically helpful and calm. I looked forward to our sessions and felt physically much better also. Other than my 6 week check at the Kensington Wing she was my only on-going link with the KW once I went home and that was a lifesaver for that vulnerable first month.
A good friend of mine who had a baby a year or so ago, recommended Lisa while I was pregnant. I was looking to have some reflexology sessions to help with circulation and importantly relaxation while I tried to juggle a busy career during the last stages of my pregnancy. Lisa came to my home and it was soon apparent that time with her was much more than just at home reflexology. Lisa has an abundance of knowledge about pregnancy, nutrition, homeopathy, yoga and is a wonderful coach and therapist.
My pre-pregnancy sessions soon turned into post-pregnancy sessions when my son arrived six weeks early! Lisa helped me with my recovery (from an emergency c-section) and provided a weekly window of relaxation and time for myself as I tackled life as a new mother. Lisa is really personable and importantly non-judgmental about the mountain of personal decisions we have to make pre-and post-pregnancy. I would highly recommend her services to anyone looking for something personal and bespoke during a very special, but at times stressful journey!
Lisa is a very competent practitioner
I began sessions with Lisa for conception and I continue to see her now through my pregnancy. It wasn’t always straightforward but I could always count on Lisa’s support. The sessions have been very beneficial for me. I feel myself more relaxed and confident on my way to motherhood.
“Lisa is a very competent practitioner. Moreover she listens to you and never judges you, so you are free to tell her everything about your fears and doubts. I thank Lisa for her support and I will continue to have sessions with her after the birth of my baby.”
