We met very briefly – I gave you a pregnancy massage when you were expecting Hollie. It was lovely to connect with you.
I really admired your decision to go back to work so quickly after the birth especially understanding the complications you had experienced. I know as a public figure everyone has their opinions but I respected you and saw an amazing inner strength which I greatly admired.
I wanted to reach out and share a new project I am working on which I am very passionate about.
Lisa Barnwell presents Bumps and the Boardroom is taking place next week and will include speakers talking about the challenges ambitious women face when combining their career with a family but I am presenting a new perspective that as a society we undervalue the true potential and real value that is available to women when they become mothers and to their families, colleagues and workplaces.
I believe you have grown tremendously since becoming a mum – your recent comments about Simon Cowell’s experience as a parent is also an interesting addition – but for this event I am focusing on the female aspect. We need strong women to set great examples to the next generations and I think you can certainly be included in this group!
If you would be open to making a comment or joining in on the conversation I would love to offer you an open invitation. I know you are active on Twitter so will also try and connect with you there as @bumpsandbabyguru
My very best wishes,
