Support From Your Worldwide Sisters
In my experience women are naturally great collaborators. A competitive nature only appears when we feel threatened and lose sight of our own uniqueness and capabilities.
I meet so many women who are supportive, open to sharing ideas and opportunities and helping each other to succeed – especially during the years of pregnancy and early motherhood. It was the secret to my successful clinic. Women couldn’t help themselves supporting each other whilst they also sought and received support.

What’s Love Got To Do With It.. (Work that is) ?
At a recent event I heard Nicola Horlick share her personal and business story – so far.
Hers is a fairly well documented story with great successes and incredible pain and loss but it was her insights into her fathers support and influence on her, her love and natural aptitude for her work and the honesty and openness with which she spoke which allowed me to connect with her in a way I haven’t before.

It now seems as if the word feminism or feminist is taken by some – or at least David Cameron – in the same way. Our PM seems afraid to say he is a feminist and wear The Fawcett Society’s iconic ‘This Is What A Feminist Looks Like’ T-shirts for ELLE’s inaugural Feminism Issue which has been trending on Twitter since Monday.
