Since qualifying as an aromatherapist I have incorporated essential oils into my own life, using my own intuition (which oils I liked the smell of essentially) to choose oils which satisfied and soothed.
Often it was Jasmine I was drawn to – recommended for changing your mood to a feeling of optimism and particularly helpful for emotional dilemma’s (think poor choice in boyfriends in my early 30’s and it was perfect!) or Frankincense to alleviate anxiety and “deepen the breath”.

I love to create bespoke essential oil blends for my clients to use during their pregnancy, labour or as a new mum. At the end of my reflexology treatments I generally include a leg and foot massage with different oils depending on what has been released in the treatment and to enhance the effects.
