As men and women we possess both masculine and feminine qualities and are affected by both of these universal energies. During pregnancy, this can shift internally so you can feel more aligned with your feminine energy, although what is happening in the skies can have a profound effect on how you feel.
For most women when they have a baby the thought of caring for their newborn is their priority and for some this feeling doesn’t change as their child grows.
Returning to work and leaving their child seems unthinkable. Their focus becomes more insular and their world revolves around their new family. They may have enjoyed their career before but it wasn’t something they felt completely passionate or aligned with.
Pregnancy is a time when you can definitely feel vulnerable rather than daring. Certainly for first time mothers you are stepping into the unknown. Your body changes and your perception of yourself can too.
If you have been working in your career for a number of years and have most of your days under control, the first few weeks with a new baby will generally turn that on its head.
