Tell yourself daily “I’M ENOUGH”!

Feeling good isn’t as complicated as we think.

I’m all for daily meditation, yoga, eating well and so on but I also want simplicity and ease. I haven’t got all day to prepare for my day and sometimes need a quick, feel good fix!

I love this simple statement made as part of a great talk given by best selling Author and Therapist Marisa Peer at the Women in Business: Superconference 2013.

Sometimes my thoughts need a bit of a tune up so this is a definite addition to my mind’s tip top toolbox.

As mums, as women, as human beings I believe we all just want to feel happy and enjoy life but often look to others – our partner, children, friends, that glass/bottle of fizz, new shoes or handbag (my weakness:)) to make us feel instantly better.

I’m not for sitting solo on a mountain top – in my book nothing beats a great hug or the amazing feeling of connectedness that comes from (no surprises here) connecting with others – but I’m also a huge fan of being able to know I can help myself to feel great on those days when somehow I just feel a bit blue.

I may be stretching my comfort zone, dealing with someone who hasn’t read the memo on loving each day and seems determined to mess up mine or just needing a mini personal pep talk and Marisa’s “I’M ENOUGH” works for me.

Treat yourself to 15 minutes of fabulous, simple yet sound advice and I would put money on you feeling better. It works for me!

Thank you Marisa x
