The Decision That Sparked It All

In Spring 2023, I relocated to Cornwall seeking a reset - personally and professionally. I temporarily traded London’s hustle for sea views, beach walks, and a slower pace to restore my creativity and reimagine how I lived and worked.

Two years on, inspiration for what’s next is beginning to emerge.

Working remotely with global clients from my home on the cliffs at Carlyon Bay, has led me to being more inward than intended - not connecting with the local business community in the ways I thought I would. Not having the stimulating conversations I crave.

But now, with the energy of summer rising, I’m seeking inspiration through visiting different parts of Cornwall’s unique leadership landscape and meeting the leaders who call Cornwall and the South West home.

I’ve already noticed, there’s a quiet strength here: an honesty, a spaciousness that feels deeply relevant to the kind of leadership many of us are craving. Less noise. More essence. More local impact.

As my own leadership - and that of my clients - continues to evolve, I’m curious about what it really takes to lead, and thrive, here in Cornwall. What are Cornish leaders modelling? What can others learn from their ways of working? And what might catalyse as a result?

Why Conversations?

• Bumps in the Boardroom (2014): a global summit exploring pregnancy as a leadership advantage and the role of feminine energy in business

• Leadership Redesigned (2020): a 9-day online event that grew organically into 40+ conversations across 12 countries and 4 generations

…it feels like the right moment to connect, converse, and collaborate again.

What This Tour Is (and Isn’t)

As a leadership coach and strategist, I regularly hold space for transformation - helping leaders redesign operating models, evolve team culture, and step into more conscious ways of leading. I often see gaps, opportunities and the bigger picture.

But these conversations aren’t about coaching or consulting. They’re about listening and learning - from those leading in Cornwall - where leadership seems to be more grounded, relational, and values-led. Whether it’s rooted in sustainability, community, family or joy, I want to understand what drives it and how can I support it’s growth.

Leadership Redesigned ‘Summer Tour’ is a chance to deepen connection, surface insight, and build the kind of meaningful relationships I’m known for whilst continuing to explore what leadership in a changing world is asking of us all.

What We’ll Explore Together

• Are Cornish leaders carving out a different style of leadership - braver, more emotionally attuned, less tethered to old paradigms or are they not thinking big or collaboratively enough?

• Is there a sense of being ahead of the curve, regardless of business size?

• How does work blend with life here? Does Cornwall invite a more human, creative, or playful way of leading?

• What shifts when a different pace, place, and presence are part of the leadership equation?

• What role does nature play? I’m more conscious of the seasons here — is that just me, or part of the culture?

• Are we really living the dream - or does work follow us, no matter the backdrop?

• And ultimately: what could other regions learn from the leaders of Cornwall?
